The Fisherman's RetreatThe Fisherman's Retreat will be built literally over this private well-stocked secluded lake. The main lake is a short hike away or try your hand at one of the massive flathead or blue channel catfish on beautiful Lake Palestine less than 10 minutes away.BRANDThe Jungle HouseA nature lover's nirvana. The Jungle House will be nestled in the woods with panoramic views of the property's ameni ties. The The Ranch HouseThe Ranch House includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms. A full kitchen and eating area allow you to never need to leave. Take advantage of the porch swing and rocking chair to soak up the view of the meadow where feeding deer are often seen. Bring games to play on the table provided on the porch. Play horseshoes right in front of the porch. Build a fire in the fire pit out front and cook s?mores under the stars. Follow the trail either to the lake or to the waterfall. The Ranch House Jungle House will allow guest to fully experience the beauty of the lake and waterfalls, the pureness of the wildlife, and the freshness of nature.

Country Getaway in Tyler is a secluded, peaceful, and beautiful property. We are 10 minutes from downtown Tyler and 30 minutes from Canton. Be sure and take a look at our picture page and take in the beauty that makes Country Getaway so unique and relaxing.Enjoy paddle boating side-by-side, canoeing, or fishing on our private lake. Also explore our many nature trails and discover the beauty of over 100 acres of the Country Getaway property with lakes, waterfalls, meadows and beautiful trees. At night, have a candlelight dinner or a late evening bonfire by the lake to warm up the night, or just enjoy the amenities of your choice of accommodation.Although you can easily "hide away" at the Country Getaway, we are convenient enough to pop into Tyler for dining or to visit the Rose Garden. There many activities on beautiful Lake Palestine less than 10 minutes away or 30 minutes to Canton for a true "shop till you drop" experience at the World's oldest and largest Flea Market, First Monday.Guest and Reservation PoliciesCheck-in: 3:00 P.M.Check-out: 12:00 P.M. Smoking: For the sake of all our guests, Country Getaway is a smoke-free environment, and therefore smoking is allowed only in designated areas.
